Research Experience
2010-2011 The Chair of a Jazz Ensemble Experience: A project designed to extend my previous
research of transitioning from the audible experience of music
visual stimulation of a painting to an original chair design.

Research Assistant duties include peer reviewing manuscripts, organizing
and analyzing data.

McNair Intern, McNair Summer Research Institute
My research project focused on Wassily Kandinsky’s theory of color and form
in relation to music, i.e., evaluate Kandinsky’s piece, Impression III
(Concert), in collaboration with Schoenberg’s musical pieces, Second String
Quartet and Three Pieces for Piano Op11, resulting in an original chair design.
